Entrou em vigor a lei que cria a Letra de Crédito do Desenvolvimento (LCD), que poderá ser emitida pelo BNDES e outros bancos públicos de desenvolvimento visando à captação de recursos. Sancionada pelo presidente da República sem vetos, essa norma (Lei 14.937, de 2024) foi publicada na sexta-feira (26) no Diário Oficial da União.
Segundo o governo, o objetivo é garantir recursos para o financiamento de longo prazo do desenvolvimento econômico do país. E quem investir nessa nova modalidade de aplicação financeira terá benefícios tributários: para as pessoas físicas, os rendimentos da LCD serão isentos do Imposto de Renda; para as pessoas jurídicas, será cobrada a alíquota reduzida, de 15%.
